September 2010

You are currently browsing the monthly archive for September 2010.

So…that hiatus was a little longer than I thought it would be. If you’ve been paying attention to Twitter or Facebook, I’ve continued to post the Morning Commute songs, but actually blogging them, well, that’s where procrastination hits. Will be attempting once again to catchup.

Broken Bells – “The High Road”

Rogue Wave“Good Morning”

Carbon Leaf – “Let Your Troubles Roll By”

Starting the morning off with a dead battery…not so fun.

Like New Year’s Eve, tonight’s underway
But tomorrow you’ll wake up afraid of the day
‘Cause underneath the scars of your broken dreams
An undone war still wages and stings
You fear the year will blow
Like a breeze through a rainbow
You swear it’s there, but you can’t grab a hold
So you sit and cry and wonder why, why…

When all of your tears dry, let your troubles roll by

Chalk Farm – “Hey”

Throwback to the 90s.

Romantica – “The Dark”

“Romantica is a folk, americana, pop band from Minneapolis, Minnesota via Belfast, Ireland.” Right, what’s not to like.
