Joined many a Houston photographer on Sunday evening to wander around the Houston Museum of Natural Science after hours. It was a very unique opportunity and I really should have taken a tripod, but still got a few good shots in. See more here.
There are some really great pictures. I am somewhat amused that many of them are geology related. I'm really impressed by the periodic table wall. It is something I would love to see. I looked at the photo of gypsum (I think) and thought "Oh Cubic Packing" before I opened it up and saw your text. As you can rarely get two geologists to fully agree on any interpretation, I'm sure there have been letter sent to the museum on how to correct the interpretation. Still... my favorite is the jewelry on a black background. I've told you this, I know, but you have talent.
Thanks for coming to the Assignment Houston event - your photos are spectacular. I'd love for you to add them to the HMNS Flickr pool, if you haven't already. Thanks for sharing!
