Orchard in bloom.

I lived in Bakersfield for 7 years and never really got a good photo of the orchards and have long been envious of friends who have. As I mentioned, I flew back there this past weekend to visit some friends and they happen to live a couple houses down from the orchard you see here. My timing was perfect, with the trees covered in snow-like blossoms. And the smell - divine.

This picture is fabulous. For those of us spring-deprived kids in the Midwest, it gives me hope of what's to come in the next few months.
