Last Christmas, Mom took up needlepoint which started with a Montana mini-stocking ornament thing. With a little more experience under her fingers, she asked if there was anything I'd like her to make. While I've looked a bit, I've not found anything really that I've liked out there and I already have a pillow with "I LOVE my job" stitched on it (oh the intended sarcasm).
I've had this Guatemalan style bracelet for several years and have always loved the pattern. It was with this in mind, that I sat down to start designing. The colors used are true to the bracelet, but I want to tweak them a bit to add some orange and take out the red. Sort of fun to use the creative side of my brain for a while although being the engineer that I am, I couldn't stray too far from using Excel.
