The ying-yang of life.

First the day starts with the smoke alarm chirping the low battery song at 3:45am. Then I dropped half of my sandwich and on the way down it flopped open, landing ham side down on the carpet. The nasty office carpet.

Things picked up when I read far enough down in a mass email from Black Lab to find out that I had won a free cd and tshirt. Also received preapproval for a car loan, just need to go into the Nissan dealership and deal.

Yea, this is how exciting my life is.

A new car...I will have to live vicariously through you. How fun! At 40, I've had two new cars in my life. Post pictures when you get it!

oh please don't go buy a brand new car! You waste so much money. Buy a one or 2 year old car instead and let someone else pay the depreciation. Please please don't pay for a car for 3 or 5 years on payments.

I'm with imelda on this one...unless you're a sucker for new car smell or have some kind of disorder where you can't live in a house someone else has lived in or wear second hand clothes.

Your low battery "song" and sad ham sandwich story made me laugh :) i may be going back to the engineering world...will keep you posted.
