28: I knew what it was before I opened the package.
Almost like clockwork, I can expect to receive a special gift this time of year. Sometimes it comes for my birthday, other times for Christmas, and a few times not at all (1, 2, 6, and 8 if you are wondering). For someone who loves to make and share music in the form of mix cds, I can be a bit picky when it comes receiving them. This of course makes me wonder if the recipients of my creations feel the same. No matter, Jen can rest assured that I've loved everyone of the KINK.fm albums she's sent. This year brought me KINK Live Ten which includes some already favorites of John Butler Trio, Brett Dennen, Snow Patrol and Rocco DeLuca. There's also some tracks on there that broaden my musical horizons more with Jackie Greene and The Feeling. I've been listening to it during the commute and have to say - stellar live music is a perfect way to start and end the day. Highly recommend it if you have a music lover in your family and are looking for a small gift or special stocking stuffer.
