Right, what better is there to do on a cold (yes, my friends located northward, cold is a relative term here), rainy day but sit on the couch watching tv/movies and cleaning up my cd library (adding album art, edit tags, etc). This meant I finally caught up on my Blockbuster queue. The Devil and Daniel Johnston was interesting and sad in a way. I had first heard of him when Guster contributed a song to the tribute album The Late Great Daniel Johnston: Discovered Covered. The movie details the life so far of Johnston, who is a prolific songwriter and artist that suffers from bipolar disorder. I didn't realize it until watching the movie, but I had seen his art on display in Domy, a progressive bookstore here in Houston.
The other movie, I'm somewhat embarrassed to admit, was Stealth. You see, I just throw movies into the queue when they come out in the theaters and don't always go back to edit out the movies that aren't even worth renting. Do you have any movie suggestions for me?
