Recently a friend suggested that if I were ever in need of a tax deductible contribution, that I could donate one of my photos for the annual fundraiser auction for Big Brothers Big Sisters in Billings, MT. I've been spending a bit of time over the last couple of nights buying frames and then trying to actually select the photos to send. Needless to say I'm flattered anytime that someone compliments my photos. My typical reaction is to somewhat brush it off with a mention of the law of averages. Meaning, I just take a lot of shots, most of which are just average and for every "brilliant" photo that makes its way to publication on this site, there are just as many crappy ones that are out of focus or not well framed. Unless, of course, I meant to take a photo of an ostrich bum...
