So yea, I'm back from Camp Mak-A-Dream where I was a volunteer for a young adult session. It was a mellow time - there were the moments of frustration (ahem) but it was definitely a good experience. I'll be thinking about going back sometime in the future. Don't really feel like writing more about it right now. Email if you are that interested.
The halls. Predominantly empty. Fought off my first urge to just call in sick and spend the day down in Ventura or something. Anywhere's better than here. Instead played hooky for a short while with a couple coworkers and hit up Starbucks. The usual thought of "shit, long line..." was replaced by "yea, well - at least we aren't at work." But now I am again. At work.
